Centreforce Sessions stop broadcasting on Time FM

Centreforce Sessions has retired from broadcasting on Time FM as from this weekend. The local radio station to Romford in Essex refused Peter Streames bid to buy the station, resulting in Centreforce sessions to pull out of broadcasting on the station.

A short but sweet statement from Centreforce Sessions “We have pulled out of Time 107.5fm as we refuse to be part of a station that plays Elvis Presley. Now you know”.

Plans are still yet unknown what will happen to Centreforce, but there is no doubt that it will continue.

The World of Jolie in 2012 so far….

The new year has come in with a bang and some great things have been happening in the world of Jolie.

I started the year with a short and sweet trip to Copenhagen in Denmark in January and made some great friends there. It’s such a kool city and so much fun. I was back at the Collection at the end of the month to play for a very kool crowd. It’s fast becoming one of my favourite bars in London.

February was an amazing month! I left London for Brazil for 2 and a half weeks and although my DJ booking fell through, I still got to see Rio de Janiero in the pre carnival stage. I did a lot of personal things and those who know me well, know that I like to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and thats exactly what I did. I met some really kool people and enjoyed the festivities. After Rio, I went down to Foz du Iguassu to see the falls and popped over to Argentina for the day. After that I got a flight up to Salvador Bahia to spend 7 days in the Carnival. It was incredible!!! I fell in love with Samba music, learnt to Samba and do some Capoiera and again met some more amazing friends. Samba, Latina and the Brazilian flare has definitely made its way in to my music selection after being influenced by a country where music is on every street and people love to dance!

March has been a little more somber and I’m feeling the holiday blues now. The good thing that is keeping me going is being back on the airwaves. Time FM in Romford has been awesome! I love being back on the radio and playing the music that I love, it’s so refreshing to share the music that i can’t always play out in clubs and bars. The response so far has been brilliant and I’m loving every minute of it. if you don’t already know, my show is on Sunday evnings 10 until midnight on Time 107.5fm or online at www.time1075.com.

I’m back with my London gigs and BIG @ 2AD was a real blast! This week you can catch me at The Collection, then I have a few weeks off to enjoy Easter.

In May I’ll be out in Marbella and no doubt will be gate crashing the SOS Radio HQ to do a show with Tito Pulpo. Stayed tuned for more info on this trip as the weeks progress and hopefully I’ll have some club news too.
